Laurence’s work is focused predominantly, but not exclusively, on furniture. His craft began in the forest, building treehouses. Seeking more hands-on experience after studying Product Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, he travelled extensively in Scandinavia working with a number of talented craftspeople. Returning to the UK, he continued learning while working alongside designers Sam & Maggie Booth of Echo Living, building sustainable modern small homes. He also developed and continues to operate a self-built soundsystem, Crucial Roots.
Laurence pursued his passion for furniture design by completing training at Chippendale International School of Furniture and launching Laurence Veitch Furniture/Design.
Services available include; furniture design, bespoke commissions, restoration, sustainable building, kitchen, shop and bar design, van conversions, fitted furniture and more. He loves to share and work with others.
